Research projects

We are part of three interdisciplinary research projects.

AQUATERR- Transfer of essential lipids from aquatic to terrestrial ecosystems via emerging insects. D-A-CH collaboration with Martin Kainz

CHARM- CHAllenges for Reservoir Management addresses central questions concerning management of artificial water reservoirs. Scientists from the Universities of Stuttgart, Konstanz and Freiburg joined forces to cover a broad field of natural- and social sciences as well as engineering.

Within the Research Training Group (RTG) R3 (Response, Resilience and Reversibility) funded by the DFG scientists at the University of Konstanz investigate responses to biotic and abiotic changes, resilience and reversibility of lake ecosystems.
